Woman Arrested in Stabbing Death of Man in Lakeport

A woman who stabbed a Lakeport man to death has been arrested. The Lake County Sheriff’s office responded to a call on Tuesday of a man stabbed. Deputies arrived to find Christopher Aaron Burrows and began life-saving measures until EMS arrived. Burrows was pronounced dead at the scene. The Lake County branch of Habitat for Humanity is in the process of submitting an application for a grant from the USDA Rural Development Disaster Relief fund. The grant would be used to help very low and low-income homeowners to repair damages from the storms late last year and early this year.
