Public comment is being requested by the Lake County Office of Emergency Services on the hazard mitigation plan update. The LakeCountyNews reports the final working plan is up for approval, and members of the community are asked to weigh in by the 26th at 5 pm. Minor edits may still be made and some data is being finalized before the incorporation of public comment to the plan and its final submission to Cal OES in June. work on the plan update began in September of 20222.
