Conservation Collective Files Suit Against PG&E Over Potter Valley Project

The same group of fishing and conservation groups that filed a lawsuit against the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission last summer has also filed a lawsuit against PG&E, in hopes the suit will push the entity to make necessary changes in operations before the actual decommissioning of the Potter Valley Project in 2025. The suit contends that the continued operation of the project endangers wildlife below the dams including salmon and steelhead trout. It is hoped the suits will accelerate the dam removal at Potter Valley.
