Round Valley High School has received threats of violence on campus recently. The area is still reeling from the loss of 16-year-old Ruby Montelongo to murder. KZYX reports school officials are taking the threats seriously and have put security measures in place to ensure the safety of students and staff. Canceling the annual Big Time celebration was a difficult decision says superintendent Mike Gorman, but ensuring safety presented too large a challenge, and aspects of the celebration will take place at the end of the school year.
