CHP Conduction Holiday Enforcement Saturation Patrols…Drive Safe

The California Highway Patrol has announced that a holiday enforcement saturation period will begin at 6 pm this evening and run through the 4th. Last year there were 44 people killed in traffic accidents during the holiday and CHP made nearly 1,000 arrests for driving under the influence throughout the 78-hour enforcement effort.
