The Lakeport Fire Protection District is planning a controlled burn this weekend. The burn, weather permitting, will be from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, near the area of Larrecou Lane and Lakeport Blvd. Residents in the area are advised that they should expect to see smoke and are asked to avoid the area during that time.
