An extended period of hot weather is expected for the Mendocino Interior on the holiday weekend. Daytime highs will likely climb to 100 to 110 degrees Saturday through Monday. The hottest days are expected to be Sunday and Monday.
Theres been no word on the cause of two fires on the same street Tuesday in the Kelseyville area. The first fire in the 4100 block of Montezuma way started around four pm and the second around 6:40 pm. All were put out by 8 pm.
