Fire Hose Stolen from Fire Scene

The Lake County Fire Protection District is asking for the community’s help in locating thousands of feet of stolen fire hose and other equipment taken from the scene of the Wilkinson fire. That fire occurred on June 21st in Clearlake. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lake County Fire Protection District.

Fatal Shooting in Clearlake Oaks

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting. Yesterday morning, the sheriff’s office received a report of a woman arriving at a local hospital after shooting a man who she said assaulted her. Police found the deceased man at a residence in the 12000 block of Island Circle in Clearlake Oaks.

LPD Illegal Fireworks Enforcement Results

The combined enforcement efforts of the Lakeport Police Department and Lakeport Fire Protection District resulted in the seizure of approximately 15 pounds of illegal fireworks and the arrest/citation of five people.
