Updates on area weekend fires:
Fire crews continue strengthening containment lines and are performing mop-up duties on Lake Ridge Road in Calpella for the Boat Fire. That fire, near Lake Mendocino, was held at 2 acres.
A vegetation fire that started near Highway 253 a few miles west of Ukiah Friday afternoon was quickly controlled by firefighter crews in the air and on the ground. The fire burned about two acres of vegetation, but no structures.
A vegetation fire on Dam Road at Lake Street in Clearlake. Grew to 5 acres and was stopped Saturday night.
