Lakeport police have made an arrest in an arson case. 34-year-old Jamie Rae Lukens, a transient and a Lakeport resident, was arrested in connection to a fire set in the downtown area this week. Fire personnel were able to quickly suppress the fire with only property damage to the nearby vegetation. Lukens was arrested for the felony violation of arson with the malicious intent of causing damage to the personal property of another.
