The Broiler Fire was stopped and controlled yesterday, and all evacuation orders were lifted. The final update had the fire at 80 acres and 75% contained. Redwood Valley Calpella Fire Department has assumed incident command. A total of nine structures were destroyed in the fire, including three residences and six outbuildings. There were also 2 outbuildings that were damaged. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
