Water Off Lover’s Point Beach Closed Due to Shark Encounter

The water off Lovers Point Beach remains closed after a paddleboarder was tipped off their board and had a shark bite the board.   The board is being checked to determine the type of shark. Lovers Point Beach and coastal access starting at the Sea Palm turnout will remain closed until tomorrow.
