On Saturday the 27th, the Lakeport Police Department will participate in the National Prescription Drug Takeback Day from 10 am to 2 pm. The event will be held at the lobby entrance of the Lakeport Police Station. All over-the-counter or prescription medication in pill, tablet, liquid, cream, or capsule form including schedule II-V controlled and non-controlled substances will be accepted in plastic bags. Vape pens and other E-cigarettes will be accepted with batteries removed. For more information contact the Lakeport Police Department.
