At its meeting on Tuesday evening, the Lakeport City Council approved awarding a contract that will complete the remaining work on sidewalks in downtown Lakeport. The Public Works Director presented a contract with T&T Paving, Inc. aka Valley Paving for the South Main Street Sidewalk Project. The bid for the work came in at just over $334,000. The project will result in there being continuous sidewalk on both sides of the street from Lakeport Boulevard to Clear Lake Avenue. Construction is estimated to start at the end of May and be completed by Aug. 1
