At a ceremony over the weekend, Representative Mike Thompson recognized Clay Shannon as Lake County’s 2024 Climate Crisis Champion. Shannon is a well-known winegrape grower and wine producer. He’s also the owner of The Mercantile in Kelseyville. Champions are chosen for the efforts to combat the ongoing climate crisis and protect the environment in their communities.
