Mendocino County Man Serving Time for Attempted Murder Dies in Prison

A Mendocino County man died of natural causes while serving his sentence for attempted murder. Harry William Miller died on the 6th at the age of 75. Miller pleaded guilty to charges stemming from an argument in 2018. Miller shot his neighbor, Paul Palestrini after disagreeing over repairs to their shared driveway. Palestrini survived the shooting. Miller’s wife was accused of shooting video of the incident and was convicted of being an accessory. She served 10 months in jail and then moved from the Mendocino area.
