The Noyo Food Forest’s Earth Day Celebration attracted over 1200 people on Saturday. This year, the event saw an increase in the diversity of ages, ethnicities, and politics. The Noyo Food Forest picked 4.20 for its annual event, even though Earth Day is actually the 22nd. The 4.20 date has stuck since the original funding for the event came primarily from the cannabis industry. This year’s event, however, saw much broader appeal and support.
