A beach hazards statement remains in effect through tomorrow afternoon for the Mendocino Coast. There’ll be an increased risk of sneaker waves, with gaps of 30 minutes or more between large wave sets. Sneaker waves can sweep across the beach without warning, sweeping people into the sea from rocks, jetties, and beaches, and can also move large objects crushing anyone caught underneath.
