The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office reports that there have been two storm-related deaths in the county. Susan Lee Silver of Fort Bragg was killed when she was struck by a tree that fell into her home while she was sleeping and an Elk Grove man was killed while driving a tree service boom truck that ran off the road and rolled. Edgar Castillo was working as a contractor assisting PG&E with storm-related repairs. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
