Another holiday weekend is on the way and the California Highway Patrol will be increasing enforcement by having all available personnel on patrol starting tomorrow evening at 6. The effort will include drug recognition evaluators, to determine whether drivers may be under the influence. Last year at this time, 56 people were killed in automobile accidents and over 700 arrests were made for driving while under the influence.
