The county Board of Supervisors on the 14th approved the budget for the next fiscal year, but the vote was not unanimous. Supervisor Bruno Sabatier was the only dissenting vote, expressing objections, due to the lack of an economic development plan in light of possible financial challenges. The recommended budget must be adopted by the end of this month, with the final budget to be adopted no later than Oct. 2nd.
