A young man who escaped from Juvenile Hall on Low Gap Road has been taken into custody. The young man was reported as escaped, and in the area of the Ukiah Golf Course over the weekend. A Nixle alert was issued and has since been rescinded.
The body of a man thought to intoxicated while swimming was recovered over the weekend and the Mendocino County Sheriff’s office is investigating the possible accidental drowning. Police have arrested a Ukiah man for setting fire to a vacant house on Sunday.
