COVID-19 cases continue to rise in Mendocino County. The death of an inmate at the Lake County Jail is being investigated. Officials say 46-year-old Daniel King, of Clearlake, who was in custody while awaiting transfer to a state prison, died after being found unresponsive in his cell. There were no signs of trauma and COVID-19 does not appear to be a factor.
