The LakeCountyNews reports Terre Logsdon has been appointed to the position funded by the first ever Prepare California “Jumpstart” grants, intended to help disaster-vulnerable communities. This is the first full-time county position dedicated to this purpose.

The Bureau of Land Management has eased fire restrictions for public lands managed by the Ukiah Field Office in Colusa, Glenn, Lake, Marin, Mendocino, Napa, Solano, Sonoma, and Yolo counties.
