A snowman contest that started as a diversion from the storms in late February went viral, gathering almost 800 entries from folks in Lake County. The sponsor of the contest, Lakeport Tire and Auto Service, and the originator of it, Marie Shrader were amazed at the wide variety of creativity expressed. Dragon Breathes Fire was the first-place winner.
