Earlier in the month, the Community Foundation of Mendocino County awarded grants to support animal welfare in Mendocino County. The Animal Welfare Grant Program has provided $208,000 to 13 organizations in the county, including the Humane Society for Inland Mendocino and the Mendocino Coast Humane Society.
