One more COVID-related death was reported in Lake County yesterday, bringing the death toll to 28. There are currently 16 patients hospitalized, which us up 5 from the last report. Mendocino county has 14 people hospitalized. ICU capacity remaining for the Northern region is 17.6%.

Increase in Covered California Enrollment

State officials say Covered California has signed up more than 1.6 million people for health insurance since the start of the pandemic. Nearly 200,000 more people have bought health insurance this year compared to the same time last year – a 14% increase. Californians have until January 31st to buy coverage.
