Three More Succumb to COVID-19 in Mendocino County

Three more Mendocino County residents have died from COVID-19, bringing total deaths in the county from the virus to 134. All three were over 75 and had contributing health factors. As of Monday, there were 15,066 confirmed cases in Mendocino County, with the seven-day average of daily cases at 27.9 per 100,000.

Adventist Health Mendocino Coast will be hosting a free Sports Physicals and Back-to-School Fair on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the hospital. Clearlake High Offering School Physicals

Clear Lake High School is offering physicals for athletes for the upcoming 2022-23 sports season today and again next Thursday, Aug. 4. The mandatory physicals will be administered in the high school gym beginning at 6 p.m. both days. The cost is $20.

Fire That Burned Vehicles in Ukiah Called Suspicious

A Clearlake man skateboarding was killed in a hit-and-run accident earlier this week. Adam Huskey was struck by a Chevy Silverado driven by Dillon Alan Mahoney.
