Vaccination progress continues in both Lake and Mendocino Counties. 9,600 first doses of the vaccine have been administered in Lake County, and 4,800 people have received a second dose. 50 percent of those age 75 and older have gotten their doses and 40 percent of people aged 65 to 74 have been vaccinated. As of March 2 in Mendocino County, 31.5 percent of the population over 16 years have at least one dose, and 13.5 percent have both. Nearly half of the people aged 64 and older in the county have been vaccinated.
