The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office reports an armed robbery over the weekend in Hopland. Dispatch said two suspects dressed in black wearing masks had robbed four people at gunpoint, assaulted them, and then fled on foot in the 700 block of Highway 175. The victims say they were approached while walking to their vehicle, were ordered to lay on the ground, and were then robbed and assaulted. Two of the victims were taken to a local hospital with injuries. An investigation is underway, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office.
