A man in Ukiah found in his vehicle is thought to have died from a medical event. According to MendoFever, a confusing call to 911 incorrectly stated a pedestrian had been hit. A bystander noticed a man stopped at the stop sign near the Ukiah Coop who appeared to be asleep. The man checked for a pulse and removed the victim from the vehicle to administer CPR. Two other bystanders confirm the actions of Ukiah resident Colton McPherson. McPherson continued CPR until emergency personnel arrived and took over. Ukiah PD has yet to verify details or confirm the man’s identity.
