A Lake County cannabis grower has had to destroy a batch of its crop after it was found without a license. Pillsbury Lake Family Farms was in the process of securing its state business license when its grow was inspected and the owners were told they had to cut and surrender their crop. The owners contend they were following procedure and were being stalled, the Lake County Treasurer’s office contends the business was out of compliance in some areas, which triggered an inspection and subsequent harvest and destruction of its crop.
