A facility designed to transition individuals out of homelessness has had its contract renewed. TheLakeCountyNews reports at the meeting of the Clearlake City Council last week, the council approved updates to the contract with Adventist Health for the operation of the Hope Center. The 21-bed facility has been in operation since November of 2020. Adventist Health asked for language stating that it would continue to ensure the Hope Center facility will continue to be used for housing and support of the homeless, regardless of whether a memorandum of understanding changed during that time.
