The United States Department of Agriculture earlier in the year released its 2022 Preliminary Grape Crush Report for Mendocino County, and after years of hot weather and reduced crops, Mendocino County’s grape tonnage was up just over 31%, coming in at just under 61,500 tons compared to 49,000 tons in 2021. The crush in the county was above the state average.
