The death of an inmate at the Sutter Roseville Medical Center in Placer County is being investigated. The LakeCountyNews reports the Lake County Sheriff’s Office reports Jason Ray died on Saturday while being treated for a medical condition when he died. Ray was in custody pending his trial for sexual assault. The sheriff’s office activated its critical incident protocol and is looking into the incident.
