District 3 Supervisor EJ Crandall is hosting an information meeting on the plan to turn the Lucerne Hotel into a facility for homeless youth this evening at 7 at the Lucerne Alpine Senior Center. The plan by the Scotts Valley Band of Pomo Indians has been controversial, last month the Lucerne Area Town Hall condemned the plan due to a lack of transparency and communication regarding how a $5.2 million grant for the project was obtained. According to the LakeCountyNews, confirmed attendees to the meeting include the Lake County Community Development Department, Lake County Office of Education, Scotts Valley Band of Pomo Indians, and the Earthways Foundation.
