Heavy Rains Helping to Bring Lake Mendocino Levels Up

With the recent heavy rains, some good news… the east fork of the Russian River is filling up Lake Mendocino, which could end three years of drought conditions, with current water levels in the lake reaching close to 100% of the target water supply level for the coming year.  Water from lake Mendocino is critical, providing drinking water, support of chinook salmon and steelhead trout, irrigation, and flood control for many communities.
