A month shy of her one-year anniversary on the job as the Mendocino County Director of Public Health, Anne Molgaard has retired. Molgaard’s sudden, unexpected departure has left the county without an administrator, an issue that County CEO Darcie Antle is going to address in the coming days. In an email to staff, Antle said that Molgaard should be treated with the utmost respect as any other citizen and that she no longer has access to county offices and facilities as an employee. Molgaard has not responded to requests for information.
