The Lake County Board of Supervisors at their meeting tomorrow will discuss an amendment to its cannabis ordinance and will also consider awarding a bid for a new multiuse path in Middletown. The Community Development Department is requesting the discussion of the cannabis ordinance, citing the growing number of acres already approved, illegal cannabis grows, drought concerns, and the proximity to communities. The department will present proposed changes to the ordinance and follow up with scheduled interactive cannabis workshops on Wednesday and Thursday.
