Another Mendocino county resident has died due to COVID-19. The 106th resident was described as an elderly female who lived in the Ukiah area. According to health officials, the woman was vaccinated. As of the beginning of the year, the county says that 8,804 cases of the virus have been reported and that more than half live in the Ukiah area.
