In his most recent COVID-19 update, Acting Public Health Officer Dr. Charlie Evans reported the Omicron variant has been identified in other nearby counties, but not in Lake County yet. Evans also commented that he knows we’re two years into this pandemic, everyone is exhausted by it, all we can do is vax, mask, test, and use common sense.
