Woman Arrested for Abuse of a Child

A Chico woman has been arrested for sexually assaulting a child. According to the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office, 21-year-old Lexie Brooke Thompson abused a 12-year-old female from Hidden Valley Lake, at a residence in Potter Valley. Thompson, who was on probation, is being held on a no bail status.

3 More COVID-Related Deaths in Mendocino County

Three more residents in Mendocino County have died from COVID-19. The Public Health Office reported that a 36-year-old Ukiah woman, a 47-year-old Ukiah man, and a 43-year-old Covelo woman all died recently from COVID-19.
