Millions in State Funding Awarded to Lake and Mendocino Counties for Drought Relief

Mendocino and Lake counties are receiving millions from the state to tackle drought relief. The city of Ukiah and the county of Mendocino together received more than $2 million from the state Department of Water Resources as part of its Small Community Drought Relief program. Lake County has been awarded over $3 million. Funds will go to the Konocti County Water District, to North Lakeport for a new well and intake works, as well as the Clearlake Oaks County Water District, and Lower Lake County Waterworks District No.1.
