The Lake County Board of Supervisors yesterday chose their Community Development Director. Following a nationwide search, the supervisors voted to hire Mary Darby. She is a University of California, San Diego graduate who also holds a Master of Arts degree in city planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Darby has nearly three decades of experience in planning, consulting and coaching. Darby says she is excited for the great opportunity to serve the leaders, residents, businesses and tourists of Lake County.
