The Mendocino County Board of Supervisors approved a water hauling assistance program to help get water to Mendocino. Under the program that was discussed during a special meeting this week, raw water will be hauled from Ukiah to the Summer Lane reservoir in Fort Bragg where it will be treated, then hauled to Mendocino. Of the 420 wells in Mendocino, 25 have been reported to be dry in the past month.
