Repeat Murder Convicted

A repeat murderer has been convicted in Mendocino County. 35-year-old Jameson Wolfgang Jackson, was found guilty of murder in the first degree and attempted murder in the first degree for the 2020 drive-by shooting death of Joel Mendoza-Gonzalez in Covelo. In 2001, Jackson was convicted and sentenced as a juvenile for the robbery/murder of a Brooktrails shop owner. He was released in 2008 and was on parole. Jackson now faces the possibility of life in prison without parole when he is sentenced on September 16th.
