Clearlake City Council Meets Thursday Evening

The Clearlake City Council meets tomorrow evening at 6 and on the agenda is consideration of foreclosure action against properties that have significant code violations and unpaid administrative fines. There are ten properties on a list submitted to the City Manager, with six remaining vacant due to city abatement.

Identification of a Clearlake woman killed in a single-car crash on State Route 20 over the weekend is being withheld pending notification of family. Woman Finds Grenade in Deceased Husband’s Belongings

This past Friday, the bomb squad was called to a home in Lakeport, after a woman found what appeared to be a grenade in her late husband’s belongings. The Lake County Sheriff’s office along with the Napa County Sheriff’s Bomb Squad inspected, confirmed there was no threat and disposed of the device.
