The Lake County Sheriff’s Department is again sponsoring the Sheriff’s Activities League for the summer. Activities are provided at no cost to families. The 8-week program is for kids 5 to 16, with something for everyone. Youth volunteers are welcome. More information is available on the Lake County Sheriff’s Activities Facebook page.
The first ever California Adopt a Pet Day will be held tomorrow, Saturday, June 1st. Martha Marie Martinez, 23 of Clearlake was walking along Highway 53 north of Anderson Ranch Parkway outside of Clearlake when she was struck.
