The Lakeport Planning Commission meets Wednesday and is set to discuss a proposal for short-term rentals on the former site of the Fresh Winds Church on High Street. The owner wants to use the existing two duplex units as short-term rentals.
The Lake County Board of Supervisors meets today and will hear a report on the Tribal EcoRestoration Alliance’s plans for a new training facility in Upper Lake. The board will consider a presentation on the 2025 Roads Projects and the 2026 Regional Transportation Plan/Active Transportation Plan Update.
On Thursday, the Clearlake City Council selected two new members and reappointed the current chair to the city’s Planning Commission. The council voted to appoint Derek Counts and Ray Silva to the commission for the first time and reappoint Fawn Williams. The new members will be seated during the next commission meeting.
