Lake County Board of Supers Supports Secure Rural Schools Program

The Lake County Board of Supervisors approved sending a letter to Congressman Mike Thompson supporting the Secure Rural Schools program, which expired last June and has not yet been reauthorized. Without funding from that bill, rural schools and other public education programs in Lake County could lose almost five hundred thousand dollars a year.
